Preaching Christ By All Means Everywhere
FIRST CAMPAIGN IN 1973
Baptist Ambassadors led it's first campaign to plant a Church in the summer of 1973 to Boston Massachusetts, as a Ministry of Open Bible Baptist Church in Canton, Michigan, Dr. Fred Schindler, Pastor. Dr Ron Hodge was the Director of BATA which was operating as the Heart-Cry for Revival.
During the five weeks of intense activity with an average of thirty five workers from across the country participating in Soul-Winning for eight hours a day, God saved twenty eight hundred Souls, and established the Boston Baptist Temple.
As a result of this Campaign three other Churches were started in the Northeast by Preachers who joined us for the Boston Project.
BATA CHURCH PLANTERS 1975 - 1994
In 1975 Dr. Hodge became the Pastor of First Baptist Church in Madison Heights, Michigan and BATA Church Planters became a Ministry of the Church.
Over the next twenty years BATA, as a Ministry of the Church was used to help plant Churches in needy areas as well as help strengthen existing Churches.
BATA MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP JUNE 1994 TO PRESENT
In June of 1994, through a series of circumstances and the clear leading of the Holy Spirit, Dr Ron Hodge entered fulltime Missionary Work. At that time he led BATA Church Planters to expand to become "Baptist Ambassadors to America", Missionary Fellowship.
For the last ten years our emphasis has been on the Remote Mountain Areas of the Appalachians, through Church Planting, Church Strengthening, and Material Distributions.
God has been good to send us many helpers in this Ministry and we are expanding our reach to other needy areas in America, as the Lord guides and provides.
